How AI Is Used
AI and machine-learning tools are applied primarily at the early stages of exploration to:

- Assist in prioritising drill targets by integrating remote sensing, geological mapping, geochemistry, and geophysics
All technical outputs are reviewed and validated by Montero’s geological team and Qualified Persons in accordance with industry standards.

Exploration Workflow
Exploration activities include geological mapping, geochemical sampling, geophysical surveys, and drilling, supported by integrated data analysis workflows that combine field observations with AI-assisted interpretation to continuously refine exploration models.
Project Advancement
Projects are advanced through phased exploration programs designed to systematically reduce risk. AI-assisted targeting helps focus expenditure on the most prospective areas but does not predict or guarantee the discovery of mineral resources.
Generative / Conceptual Exploration
Data-driven methods are also used to test multiple geological hypotheses and explore for concealed or under-explored mineral systems, which are conceptual in nature and have not yet been demonstrated to host mineral resources.
