Geoff Skelton - Refinery Process Leader

Geoff is an Industry recognized hydrometallurgist with over 30 years of experience in Base and Precious metals hydrometallurgical plant design and operations in South Africa. Geoff graduated with a B.Sc. (Hons) Chemical Engineering from the University of Exeter, UK. He spent 21 years with Impala Platinum Refineries filling roles including General Manager and Project Manager where Geoff was responsible for the metallurgical development of state of the art hydrometallurgical separations processes that are incorporated within Impala’s Enhanced Precious Metals Refinery in Springs, South Africa.

Michael Freeman - Process Engineering Consultant, South Africa

Mike has 40 years of experience in the chemical and metallurgical industries and holds a B.Sc. (Chemical Engineering) Cum Laude from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa. He is a Registered Professional Engineer with previous work experience including; Sentrachem Group and Mintek. Mike has extensive experience of rare earth processes in South Africa

Serame Mashoeng - Process Engineer, South Africa

Serame has a B.Eng. (Chemical) degree from North West University, formerly known as Potchefstroom University for CHE, South Africa. He is a process engineer with experience in R&D and projects covering feasibility studies, design and project execution. His experience ranges from minerals processing and hydrometallurgy with companies such as AARL, Bateman Engineering and CDM Group.

Michael Evans - Project Manager - Wigu Hill, Tanzania

Mike has an MSc in Geology from Natal University, South Africa. He has over 38 years experience as a geologist including 26 years working with Phelps Dodge Corporation. Mike has worked in over 15 African countries where he has directed mineral target generation and on-site evaluation of properties. This included the establishment of exploration operations and the development of major exploration programs, as well as the management of feasibility studies on two major projects. Mike is a Qualified Person.

Michael John Spratley - Mining Engineer Consultant, South Africa

Michael has a general engineering background and holds an Ordinary National Diploma in Technology (OND) in Engineering from Chichester College of Technology and a BSc Mining Engineering Hons (Wales) degree. Michael moved to South Africa in 1985 to work for Anglo American Gold; holds both Mine Managers Certificate of Competency No 4169 and Mine Overseers Certificate of Competency No 11158. Michael practiced deep level production gold mining for 8 years and has 15 years experience consulting as a project manager on mines, or for mining houses. In 2009, he joined Bastillion International. as General Manager.
